About
Hello!
If you are anything like me, working with sustainability has given you many moments of helplessness, frustration and overwhelm. This should come as no surprise as much of our attention, energy and resources are focused on problems.
The challenges of sustainability are complex, dynamic and systemic. To approach them with traditional problem-solving just makes our contributions seem meaningless and pointless compared to the magnitude of the challenges we stand in front. Unsurprisingly this way of thinking results in stress, anxiety and fear or denial, avoidance and procrastination.
Thankfully, there is another way forward.
An abundant and appreciative mindset is the opposite of scarcity. It is rooted in a deep inner feeling of strength, meaning and togetherness. By embracing the idea that we are the root cause of the problem and therefore we can fix it, and that the future is filled with tremendous opportunity we can begin to focus our attention on envisioning alternatives that make the current problems obsolete and on co-creating the solutions that are so urgently needed.
So, what if instead of becoming masters of problems, we instead craft compelling visions for what a meaningful life in the 21st Century can look like and only solve the parts of the problems that stand in the way to the new vision?
Bio
I am a sustainability strategist, communicator and trainer with a background on the Science of Sustainability committed to accelerating a systemic transformation towards a more meaningful, equitable, creative and healthy society within planetary boundaries.
For the past 8 years, I have consistently been advocating to shift:
The definition of sustainability from a “vision”, a “process”, a “goal” or a “principle” to a “mindset”.
The approach to Sustainability from “complex problem-solving” to “vision co-creation and solution back-casting”.
I currently am a freelance-consultant and coach to Start-Ups and Businesses and a guest-lecturer at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm (KTH).
I have founded the Beyond2030 Consulting Project to help Start-Ups, SMEs and Entrepreneurs to go beyond the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through their businesses and find their way and contribution to the ongoing system transformation.
To #GoBeyond 2030 means to go beyond the UN’s SDGs contained in the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development. It means to make sustainable impact core to the business model and strategy. It means to do all this, in close dialogue and collaboration with other stakeholders such as Governments, Investors, Clients, the Youth, Local Communities.
Prior to the Beyond2030 Project, I have co-developed the first Center for Social Innovation at Lund University, designed and facilitated over 100 co-creative workshops for entrepreneurs, start-ups, and public organizations, assisted research at Uppsala University and at the Institute for Ecological Economy Research in Heidelberg, Germany.
Vision
I am on a journey to combine the hard truths of the science of sustainability with the power of genuine human connection to facilitate the co-creation of a sustainable future grounded in meaning.

Mission
The first step in achieving my bigger vision is to re-train 10.000 industry leaders in the Beyond2030 Mindset and Tools by delivering to them and their teams the Beyond 2030 Learning Lab.
The second step in achieving my vision is to roll up my sleeves and jump in the arena with you to help you build a strategy and that makes sustainability core to your business model. This is what the Beyond2030 Action lab is for.
The final step in the process is to ensure that your communication is inline with your new strategy so you can catalyse a tangible return on investment for your business.
